The State Allocates 279 Million Kuna to Small Farmers, 15,000 Euros per Farmer

The Payment Agency in Agriculture has announced a call for Support for the Development of Small Agricultural Holdings, distributing a total of 279 million kuna, or up to 15,000 euros per farmer, as a non-repayable grant.

Here is the text of the call.

The grants are intended for the purchase of animals, plants and seeds, construction and equipping of facilities, purchase of land and machinery, promotion of agricultural products, acquiring necessary professional knowledge, etc.

The Agency states that the purpose of this call is “to assist small agricultural holdings in their transition to market-oriented production, sustainable development, inclusion of members of the holding in work on the agricultural holding, and earning sufficient income for a decent life.”

Eligible beneficiaries are small agricultural holdings registered in the Register of Farmers, with an economic size expressed in total standard economic results of the agricultural holding from 2,000 euros to 7,999 euros. The amount of support per beneficiary is 15,000 euros in kuna equivalent, and the support intensity is 100%.

The application for support can be filled out and submitted in AGRONET from August 30, 2018, at 12:00 PM until December 13, 2018, at 12:00 PM.
