Aston Martin will once again produce 28 new replicas of one of the most famous cars in history, the Aston Martin DB5, which was driven by Sean Connery in the 1964 film Goldfinger, reports Forbes.
The legendary car will be equipped with almost all the gadgets that the then James Bond had at his disposal.

It will have flip-up license plates, the rear window will be bulletproof, and the car will also feature built-in tire-puncturing weapons, although it will not be able to fire. All 28 units will be made in silver, as was the original model.
This is a joint project between Aston Martin and EON Productions, the company that produces the James Bond films. To ensure authenticity, the 28 new cars will be manufactured in Newport Pagnell, where the DB5 was once produced.
Of the 28 cars produced, one will be sold at a public auction, with proceeds going to charity, two will go to the factory and EON Production, while 25 are intended for general sale.

The starting price will be £2.75 million plus tax, making the final price around £3.3 million. The first deliveries are expected in 2020.
Owners of the cars will not be allowed to drive them on public roads.
