ZAGREB – The Living Wall will hold a press conference on the state of healthcare in front of the Ministry of Health building (12 PM, Ksaver 200a).
ZAGREB – “Minister’s Voice for the Rescue of Jastrebarsko” is the theme of the protest press conference in front of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy, which will be held by Nenad Matić, president of the Green List, and Roman Rodić, councilor of Most in the City Council of Jastrebarsko (10 AM, Radnička cesta 80). They will request Minister of Environmental Protection and Energy Tomislav Čorić to ‘clearly express his intention regarding the placement of a facility for the treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous medical waste in Jastrebarsko’.
ZAGREB – Since January 2016, 1,218 personal bankruptcy proceedings have been initiated in Croatia before Fina’s advisory offices, and more than two-thirds of them, or 71.8 percent, ended in unsuccessful out-of-court settlements, according to data from the Financial Agency. According to Fina’s review of aggregate data since January 1, 2016, when the Consumer Bankruptcy Act has been in effect, as of August 20 of this year, 1,215 citizens and three craftsmen, or individuals engaged in self-employment, have requested the initiation of out-of-court proceedings, with their total debts amounting to 891.56 million kuna. The individuals who requested the initiation of proceedings have a total of 7,397 creditors.
