Davorin Štetner, president of the Croatian Business Angels Network CRANE, wrote a good comment on Facebook regarding the proposal that contributions for directors’ salaries be paid as if they were at least 10,000 kuna.

“Legally minimum salaries are paid by business owners who have just started and are doing the job of directors themselves. For such small entrepreneurs, it is most important that their monthly expenses are as low as possible, and if we want to encourage the business environment – it absolutely makes no sense to set any conditions for beginners with companies up to three years old! For them, this is literally the difference between life and death, business-wise of course,” writes Štetner on his Facebook profile.
