Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles, a company within the Đuro Đaković group, has contracted additional deliveries of previously agreed Shimmns wagons with French and German clients, worth 46 million kuna, the Slavonski Brod company reported on Friday.
The wagons are used for transporting coils of sheet metal, primarily for the automotive industry, and the additional quantities of wagons will be delivered during the first quarter of 2019, the statement said.
– Over the past ten years, the company has developed, produced, and delivered a larger quantity of various types of freight wagons for the Western European market, and in this sense, these additional deliveries represent a continuation and result of years of activities in developing new products, as well as developing relationships with customers, stated Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles.

Only this year, the company based in Slavonski Brod has signed several contracts with clients from Germany and France for the mentioned models of wagons.
Thus, in May 2018, a contract was signed with the German company Gatx Rail Germany for the delivery of freight wagons for transporting coils of sheet metal, type Shimmns TTU 4, worth 33.1 million kuna.

Earlier, in February of this year, a contract was signed with the German company ERR European Rail Rent for the delivery of Shimmns TTU type wagons, worth 34.5 million kuna.
With the French company Atir Rail LX, a contract for the delivery of freight wagons of the mentioned type was signed in March, amounting to 38.5 million kuna.
