GNK Dinamo and Leicester City have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Filip Benković, who becomes the new member of the club from the English Premier League.

– We have agreed on all the details regarding the transfer of Filip Benković to Leicester City. I must express my satisfaction as we have negotiated excellent terms with a total figure of 15 million euros in compensation (transfer and bonuses). Filip Benković is a product of Dinamo with several years of experience in the first team, and his departure is a logical sequence of events. The management of Dinamo is responsible for the future of the club, and this move is part of the club’s strategy to maintain this level of conditions and operations. Likewise, moving to the best football league in the world is a step forward for Filip, but also a confirmation of the reputation that Dinamo and its football academy have in the world, said the CEO of GNK Dinamo, Igor Kodžoman.
Filip Benković is a product of the GNK Dinamo football academy, who has been a member of the senior team for three full seasons. He has made nearly 80 appearances for this team and scored six goals. He has won four trophies and is a regular member of the Croatian U21 national team.
