The company Stenavert is constructing a large show jumping hall, as well as riding arenas and stables for fifty horses, which will be located in the settlement of Čehi near Zagreb, and the project is being realized by private investor Goran Golubiček and the equestrian club Evago.

– The first facility of this kind is only in Vienna, which means that enthusiasts of show jumping from all neighboring ex-Yu countries, as well as Hungary and parts of Italy closer to Croatia, will be eager to travel to Zagreb, or the settlement of Čehi. Investors believe that this facility will attract significant attention for training and competitions and will return the investment of 20 million kuna over several years, says Stenavert director Ratko Ivošević for Novi list.
During construction, a wooden structure was used because the fifty riding horses that will be housed in the hall daily ‘deliver’ a considerable amount of urine which, if the facility were built of iron or concrete, would create unpleasant and harmful gases that corrode such structures, they explain.

The structural elements were manufactured by the Austrian company Haslacher.
