RIJEKA – On the occasion of the implementation of the project “Reconstruction and equipping of day hospitals and day surgeries of KBC Rijeka”, a press conference will present the activities and progress of the project along with a presentation and tour of the department (10 AM, KBC Rijeka – Rijeka location, Krešimirova 42, Main building, large lecture hall, 1st floor). The conference will feature KBC Rijeka director Davor Štimac, deputy director and project manager Nives Jonjić, and project administrator Sandro Krizman. The purpose of the project is to create conditions for improving the efficiency and access to day hospitals and day surgeries of individual Clinics and Institutes, while simultaneously raising the quality of medical services. Project activities include reconstruction, adaptation of existing spaces, purchase of modern equipment, and thus optimization of hospital processes.
ZAGREB – The initiation of the pre-bankruptcy settlement procedure from October 2012 to August 3, 2018, was requested by 8,959 companies and crafts, of which 3,149 reached a settlement before the competent commercial court, according to the latest data from the Financial Agency (Fina). According to the aggregate data from Fina related to the period from the entry into force of the Law on Financial Operations and Pre-Bankruptcy Settlement, October 1, 2012, to Friday, August 3 of this year, a total of 8,959 companies and crafts with 66,761 employees submitted proposals for initiating the pre-bankruptcy settlement procedure, and they reported a total of 82.4 billion kuna in liabilities.
