I cannot say that I am glad that Croatian water polo players lost the European semi-final to Serbia.
However, as the media ‘inflated’ the fans’ passions, I am a bit afraid that in the case of a water polo victory, following the Russian football silver, we would turn into superhumans to whom no one is equal.

Water polo and football are, unfortunately, two sports exceptions in a pathetic political reality and economic lack of perspective.
Football is the success of ‘legionnaires’ who honed their talent in some of the best clubs in the world, while water polo is a rare Croatian sport that is systematically developed at the highest level.

Similarly, in business, only those who cultivate domestic knowledge in the global market succeed. And, congratulations to the water polo players for the bronze!
