Cargo-partner builds iLogistics center in Ljubljana

Cargo-partner is commencing the construction of a modern iLogistics center near Ljubljana Airport this year. The newly built center will increase the current storage space for goods sixfold, resulting in over 20,000 pallet spaces across more than 25,000 m2.

The construction of the new logistics center will begin this year in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and will feature over 20,000 pallet spaces across more than 25,000 m2 of storage space. It will also include 6,000 m2 for small parts and packaging, 5,000 m2 for cross-dock and non-palletized goods, and 4,000 m2 of office space. The project is part of the company’s strategic investments aimed at strengthening its global warehousing capacities.

Located directly next to Ljubljana Airport and about 20 minutes from the city center, the newly built iLogistics center will provide direct access to the A2 motorway. With 44 truck loading docks, the facility will be well-equipped for daily rapid receipt and dispatch of goods to surrounding areas.

Other recent logistics investments by cargo-partner include the iLogistics center in Fischamend, Austria, with a total area of 12,200 m2, as well as a logistics center in Sofia, Bulgaria, with 16,500 m2 of storage space. Both centers began construction in the spring of 2018.
