Dragutin Pavletić, the director of Uljanik Shipping, has submitted an irrevocable resignation from his position as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Uljanik shipyard, explaining that he wants to eliminate the risk of Uljanik and Uljanik Shipping being perceived as related companies. With this act, Pavletić has also symbolically severed all ties between the two companies.

In reality, the ties between Uljanik and the company established by the shipyard in 1985 were severed more than ten years ago, when through a series of capital increases, Uljanik Shipping completely displaced Uljanik from its ownership structure, which has long since had no representative in the Supervisory Board of Uljanik Shipping, whose largest individual shareholder is precisely Pavletić.
