Kraš Group’s Profit in the First Half of the Year Increased by 53 Percent

Kraš Group achieved a net profit of 10.3 million kuna in the first half of the year, which is an increase of 3.6 million kuna or 53 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the financial report published on Wednesday.

The Group generated consolidated total revenues of 445.3 million kuna in the first six months, which is one percent less than in the same period last year. In total revenues, sales revenues amounted to 439.9 million kuna, with domestic market revenues reaching 235.1 million kuna and foreign market revenues at 204.8 million kuna.

Total consolidated expenses during the mentioned period were 432.8 million kuna, a decrease of 1.9 percent.

The Group’s gross profit was 167.7 million kuna, which is an increase of 12.6 million kuna compared to the same period last year. The gross margin stands at 38.1 percent. EBITDA amounts to 39.9 million kuna, while the EBITDA margin was nine percent.

Profit before taxation was 12.6 million kuna, representing a growth of 47 percent compared to the same period last year.

In the first half of the year, the volume of quantitative sales in the domestic market was at the level achieved in the same period last year, Kraš emphasizes. They add that in foreign markets, a quantitative growth of 2.3 percent was achieved, with a focus on export markets in Western and Central Europe, overseas countries, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.

The achieved business results were significantly contributed by investments in the development and marketing of new and innovative products, Kraš states.
