Emirates and its partner airline flydubai announced today that flydubai will take over flights between Dubai and Zagreb from December 2, 2018, to March 30, 2019, after which Emirates will resume the flights. This will make the best possible use of existing capacity to meet the demand for flights on this route during the winter months.
This move further illustrates the numerous advantages of the strategic partnership between these two Dubai-based airlines.

During the specified period, flight FZ 1793 will depart from Dubai at 10:00 AM and arrive in Zagreb at 1:15 PM local time. The return flight FZ 1794 will depart from Zagreb at 2:30 PM and arrive in Dubai at 11:00 PM local time.
Flydubai will operate this route with the new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which offers passengers an advanced travel experience, including seats that can recline to a horizontal position in business class, modern seating in economy class, an in-flight entertainment system on HD screens, and Boeing’s innovative SkyInterior system in the aircraft’s interior.

Emirates and flydubai will continue to provide passengers with a travel experience in line with the values of both brands, with flydubai flights to Zagreb departing and arriving at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport (DBX), allowing seamless connectivity with other flights in Emirates’ modern hub in Dubai. Both airlines offer passengers numerous travel options within their complementary network of destinations, which currently, thanks to the codeshare agreement, includes 90 destinations, with several new ones to be available soon.
The codeshare partnership started with flights to 29 destinations and quickly expanded to meet the demand of passengers who recognized all the benefits of cooperation, such as increased frequencies, expanded flight availability with just one airline ticket within the global network, alignment of loyalty programs, baggage check-in to the final destination, seamless transfers during transit in Dubai, and more.

Passengers on all flights booked under the codeshare will receive complimentary meals and the allowed amount of checked baggage as is customary on Emirates flights, both in economy and business class.
So far, more than 794,000 passengers have taken advantage of the partnership between Emirates and flydubai, which began on October 29, 2017.
