During the past weekend, from July 20 to 22, a traffic volume of 860,137 vehicles was recorded on the highways under the jurisdiction of Hrvatske autoceste (HAC) and Autoceste Rijeka – Zagreb (ARZ), with toll fees amounting to 48.4 million kuna excluding VAT, HAC reported on Monday.

From the beginning of the year until July 22, a traffic volume of 30,129,968 vehicles was recorded on these highways, generating toll fees of 1.45 billion kuna. Compared to the same period last year, this represents a 5 percent increase in traffic, while toll fees collected were 7.3 percent higher, HAC emphasizes.

Bina Istra reported that during the past weekend, traffic on the Istrian Y was 3.8 percent higher than in the comparable weekend last year. In the past three days, 164,168 vehicles passed through the Istrian Y, compared to 158,194 last year, the concessionaire stated.
