ZADAR/VARAŽDIN – Several Croatian cities are organizing a welcome for the members of the Croatian national football team, players, and coaching staff after winning silver at the World Cup in Russia.
In Zadar, the program starts at 8 PM at the port in the Jazine bay. The Zadar “Vatreni” will sail to the Forum on the sailing ship Branimir, and after disembarking at the quay of King Petar Krešimir IV, the ceremonial program will continue at the Forum from 9 PM.
In Varaždin, the welcome for the “Vatreni” at Kapucinski Square is organized by the City and the Concert Office of Varaždin (program starts at 6 PM). At 9:30 PM, there will be a fireworks display in honor of the Croatian national football team led by coach, Varaždin native Zlatko Dalić.
ZAGREB – A press conference will be held to present the Statement of the Commission Iustitia et pax of the Croatian Bishops’ Conference (12 PM, at the premises of the Croatian Bishops’ Conference, Ksaverska cesta 12A).
