We announce the most important events in Croatia for Monday, July 16:
ZAGREB – Numerous citizens are expected on Monday at the central Zagreb Ban Jelačić Square to welcome the Croatian national football team, which has achieved a historic success by reaching the final of the World Cup. The team’s arrival at the airport is expected at 2 PM, and at Ban Jelačić Square around 2:30 PM. Buses with the football team and coaching staff will travel along the route Rudolf Fizira Street – Zagreb Street – Federal Republic of Germany Street – Dubrovnik Avenue – Većeslav Holjevac Avenue – Freedom Bridge – Croatian Brotherhood Community Street – City of Vukovar Street – Savska Road – Roosevelt Square – Republic of Croatia Square – Frankopanska Street – Ilica – Ban Josip Jelačić Square.
ZAGREB – The President of the Republic Kolinda Grabar Kitarović will present decorations and recognitions of the Republic of Croatia to the coach, players, and members of the coaching staff of the Croatian national football team, as well as to members of the delegation of the Croatian Football Federation (5:30 PM, Pantovčak 241)
ZAGREB – A press conference will be held at the National Centre for External Evaluation of Education on the topic “Presentation of the results of the summer session of the state matura 2017/2018.” Participants will include director Ivana Katavić, head of the Department for Organization and Conduct of Examinations Zlatko Zadelj, senior advisor in the Department for Promoting Education Quality Natalija Ćurković, head of the Info Center Mirjana Smoljić, and a representative of the Ministry of Science and Education (12 PM, Director’s Office, Damir Tomljanović-Gavran Street 11).
