The most famous symbol of the Russian capital, as well as the heart of all Russia, Moscow’s Red Square has been flooded with Croatian fans ahead of the World Cup final between Croatia and France.
A few hours before the historic final of the Croatian and French national teams at the Luzhniki Stadium, the atmosphere in the city center reached a boiling point.

About 10,000 Croatian fans traveled to Moscow for the semi-final against England, and now it is expected that there may be twice as many. Unfortunately, many of them are hoping to grab a ‘piece of luck’ on the streets of Moscow even without a ticket.
“Last night, scalpers were asking for two thousand euros for tickets, and today the price has dropped to 1,500,” said a young man from Zagreb.
Some fans are angry that only 1,230 tickets were put on sale, but they were snatched up in a ‘second’. The interest is such that even a stadium with four million seats would not be enough.
Nikolska Street, which leads to Red Square and is full of cafes and restaurants, is clogged with Croatian fans who have arrived at the final literally from all corners of the world. The French remain reserved, as if they are aware that ‘Fiery Madness’ awaits them. Or they adhere to the saying ‘he who laughs last…’
