For a year, the Swedish online bank Nordnet had a special employee, Amelia, distinguished by her unique intelligence, artificial. However, despite the references from her producing company IPsoft, which states that Amelia can work for a thousand people, the performance of this virtual colleague, who assisted new bank users in activating their accounts, did not impress either the employer or the users.
Nordnet’s CEO Peter Dahlgren decided to dismiss Amelia after mediocre user reactions and prioritize other AI-related matters, writes TechSpot.

Although Amelia has been ‘kicked out’ at Nordnet, she does not have to worry too much as she is still working in about fifty other companies in the finance, technology, healthcare, and education sectors. Moreover, a career milestone awaits her in the near future as IPsoft sees her as a competitor to Google Duplex as a replacement for all agents in call centers.
