On the A3 highway Bregana – Zagreb – Lipovac, on Thursday morning around 5:20 AM, police officers using a “speed trap” caught up with and stopped a personal Mercedes car with German registration, which was speeding towards Zagreb at 236 kilometers per hour.

The driver of the car, a 31-year-old German citizen, was issued a mandatory misdemeanor order and fined 3000 kuna, as well as a protective measure prohibiting him from driving “B” category vehicles in Croatia for a duration of one month, reported the Sisak-Moslavina police.
