Poletaev: We Have a Plan for Agrokor

The advisor to the CEO of Sberbank, Maksim Poletaev, stated after a meeting with Prime Minister Plenković that the settlement accepted yesterday in Agrokor represents a new beginning for the group.

“We are very satisfied with yesterday’s result. The result looks very convincing. I thank all consumers and all shareholders who have helped us a lot,” said Poletaev after leaving the meeting held at the Banski Dvori.

“This is a new beginning – a new beginning for Agrokor, a new beginning for Croatia, and we have a lot to do in the future,” added Poletaev.

When asked if Sberbank has a plan, he replied: “Of course we do.”

Agrokor’s creditors voted on Wednesday for the settlement, with creditors voting for 80.2% of the total claims.

The settlement was voted on by creditors with claims of 27.08 billion kuna out of a total amount of 33.75 billion kuna.

Peruško and Weber: From today we are working on the future of Agrokor

The extraordinary commissioner for Agrokor, Fabris Peruško, reiterated on Thursday after a meeting with Prime Minister Plenković that he is pleased that the settlement was accepted by a large majority, adding that this will make his job easier in the future, while his deputy Irena Weber stated that from today they are working on the future of Agrokor.

“We are glad that the settlement was accepted yesterday by a large majority of 80 percent. This has proven that the settlement included a very wide circle of creditors, and this will facilitate our future work,” said Peruško.

He thanked everyone who worked on the settlement, as well as those who enabled Agrokor to operate successfully in the past period.

We are focusing on increasing profitability, revenue, and efficiency

Deputy extraordinary commissioner Irena Weber said that she and Peruško informed the Prime Minister about the voting on the settlement achieved yesterday, as well as that they had a joint meeting with representatives of Sberbank.

“From today we are working on the future of Agrokor. We are focusing on increasing profitability, increasing revenue, and increasing the efficiency of all operational companies,” concluded Weber.
