The Platform Does the Right Thing Raised 40,000 Kuna for the Summer Vacation of Children from Lower Socio-Economic Status

Two years ago, Vipnet launched a commendable initiative aimed at raising funds to be allocated to humanitarian organizations. Thus, from one good employee action, the fundraising platform Čini pravu stvar was initiated.

The platform operates by registering a challenge that one wishes to achieve, as well as the goal or organization that one wishes to help, and the campaign is then shared on social media and via email, thereby motivating others to donate money.

It is important to emphasize that registration and use of the platform is free, so that all collected funds go to those who need it the most.

In just one year, the platform raised 240,000 kuna, and the last humanitarian action collected funds for the organization Mirno more and their Fleet of Peace. With the collected 40,000 kuna, children from parents of lower socio-economic status will sail the Adriatic while learning about peace and tolerance.

On the occasion of its second birthday, the action Čini pravu stvar held a conference at the HUB 385 innovation center where awards were given for successful actions. One of them was that of the Association Mali zmaj with 33,755 kuna in donations, and the challenge of their ambassador Marko Kos who cycled to Vir and raised 16,100 kuna for the association.

Many celebrities have also joined the platform Čini pravu stvar, including actors Ecija Ojdanić, Mario Valentić, and Jan Kerekeš, skier Ivica Kostelić, and sociologist Bruno Šimleša. He raised 23,345 kuna for humanitarian purposes, for which, among other things, he shaved his head, danced break dance, and now plans to jump off the Maslenica Bridge for the association of women suffering from and treated for cancer.

The platform currently has 69 ambassadors and 86 challenges behind it, and collaborates with 38 organizations, thus participating this year in the humanitarian race Wings for Life for people with disabilities.
