The president of the Living Wall, Ivan Vilibor Sinčić, reacting to the publication of email correspondence between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Martina Dalić and the author of “lex Agrokor”, called on Prime Minister Andrej Plenković to resign on Wednesday, asserting that ‘the whole situation is treason’.
“I call on the Prime Minister to resign, the whole government should be ashamed,” said Sinčić in the afternoon at a press conference in front of the government building at St. Mark’s Square.

Sinčić claims that Prime Minister Plenković and Minister Dalić, in adopting “lex Agrokor”, did not care about the public interest, the fate of Agrokor, the interests of shareholders, small suppliers, or workers, but only about how to distribute consulting jobs worth 500 million kuna through “bartering agreements” to their close circles.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković stated, after the email correspondence of Deputy Prime Minister Martina Dalić with consultants and lawyers who worked on the drafting of the so-called lex Agrokor was published, that experts were consulted to quickly find a solution to prevent uncontrolled bankruptcies within Agrokor, that all this was done in agreement with the then coalition partners from Most, and that Minister Dalić still enjoys his trust.

Minister Dalić said that the emails published by Index confirm what she had previously stated, namely that she is the main author of lex Agrokor. “Today, I would do everything in the same way to bring the major economic problem under control,” emphasized the Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts. She reminded that managing the crisis in Agrokor was a “very complex job”, which is why numerous experts who could help were consulted. To do this, she added, they had to familiarize themselves with the situation, and therefore documents were made available to them.
Sinčić, on the other hand, asserted that this is a conflict of interest and favoritism.
“There is a clear conflict of interest, that there was favoritism, that there was abuse of position, and I would simply call all this treason,” said Sinčić at the press conference. He called on the State Attorney’s Office of the Republic of Croatia to investigate all actions and emails published by the Index portal.
He called the government corrupt, stating that “it must fall like the corrupt majority that holds it.” Sinčić believes that new parliamentary elections should be held.

He also called on all citizens who have any information related to Agrokor to provide it to the public.
According to the opinion of the Member of Parliament from the Living Wall, Branimir Bunjac, it is now confirmed that decisions in the state are made at the level of some “secret societies” that have no legitimacy. He claims that a criminal act of influence peddling has occurred.
“This is extremely unserious and unworthy of a government, of a state at all. I do not know how we can face the public and international circles with this shame. It is clear that the institutions have failed and that the only correct thing is to dissolve the government and call new elections,” he said.
