The Croatian wedding agency Wedding2Book, in collaboration with the German agency Agentur Traumhochzeit, has launched a presentation of Croatia in the German market as an ideal wedding destination, supported by the Croatian Tourist Board, the agency reported on Tuesday.
As emphasized by Wedding2Book, which is based in Rijeka, other renowned Croatian companies in the wedding sector are also involved in the project.
>>> Slovenia ‘kicks out’ wedding godparents
A promotional video to be presented at German and other wedding fairs will showcase attractive locations along the Croatian coast, such as the Dubrovnik walls, Lopud, Brijuni National Park, Šolta, Hvar, Kvarner, and others. Filming has already been completed at most locations, while it is ongoing at the remaining sites.
In addition to filming video and photo promotional material, the project also includes promotion in the German magazine Dream-Z, and there are plans to organize a study trip for the German VOX television, which would film a segment about Croatia as an ideal wedding destination.
>>> Wedding fairs on the brink of profitability
Wedding2Book emphasizes that the wedding industry, besides offering inspirational and decorative ideas, romantic settings, and gastronomic delights, represents a profitable segment of the tourism sector, and that foreign weddings provide caterers, hoteliers, and private renters with extended business opportunities beyond the season.
