The President of the Republic, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, stated on Monday, after the conclusion of the mass celebration in honor of the patron saint of Split, Saint Domnius, that she believes last week’s government session in Split, with decisions on a number of projects important for the city and the county worth nearly two billion kuna, will accelerate development projects in Split.
“I wish much prosperity to this city and I believe that the government session held these days in Split will accelerate development projects and all that troubles the people of Split, and I hope that this will happen soon for a more beautiful and better life in this beautiful city,” the president told reporters on the Split waterfront.
She congratulated all the people of Split on Sudamja, the festive celebration marking Saint Domnius and the Day of the City of Split.
In response to a journalist’s question about the measures for demographic renewal that she announced, Grabar-Kitarović said that these measures will be presented.
“We will present them. Please, do not let us present them partially at this moment, it is neither the time nor the place,” she emphasized.
