Until now, potential buyers would see a product or service on Instagram and then have to go to the manufacturer’s website, whereas this way everything will proceed much faster and simpler.

As a sort of pilot project, selected restaurants have been chosen, and in some areas of the U.S., reservations and payments through the Instagram profiles of certain establishments have already been implemented. Next in line should be movie theaters, as well as the sale of clothing and footwear.
Monetary transactions are based on regulations defined back in 2013 in the case of Facebook, and it is worth mentioning that something similar began to be tested by Snapchat in February.

Experts estimate that this form of virtual shopping will quickly become very popular not only among consumers but also with large companies that will increasingly advertise on Instagram.
This innovation is currently only available in the United States, but after the pilot phase of the project, expansion to foreign markets is planned.
