In the first four months of this year, Dubrovnik-Neretva County recorded approximately 203 thousand tourist arrivals, which is 6 percent more than in the same period last year, while the number of overnight stays increased by 2 percent, to 619 thousand, according to data from the E-visitor tourist registration and deregistration system.
In April alone, there were nearly 122 thousand arrivals, which is 2 percent more than in April 2017, and 388 thousand overnight stays, which is 1 percent less than in the same month last year. The highest number of overnight stays was achieved by guests from Croatia, the United Kingdom, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, and the USA.

In Dubrovnik, 154 thousand guests stayed in the first four months, which is 4 percent more than a year earlier, with 436 thousand overnight stays, 3 percent more. The most numerous tourists were from the United Kingdom, Croatia, the USA, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, France, Spain, and South Korea.
In April alone, there were 88 thousand arrivals, which is 1 percent more than in the same month in 2017, and 269 thousand overnight stays, which is at the level of last year’s results.

For the extended weekend, from April 28 to May 1, Dubrovnik recorded nearly 17 thousand arrivals, representing a growth of 6 percent compared to last year, and nearly 53 thousand overnight stays, 5 percent more than last year.
