ZSE: The Most Traded Were HT Shares, Petrokemija Increased

Crobex indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange have risen for the third trading day in a row, on Monday by about 0.8 percent, while the most traded was the share of HT, and in terms of price changes, the shares of companies that published financial reports stand out, with Petrokemija being among the biggest gainers with a price increase of 31.7 percent.

The Crobex index rose by 0.75 percent, for the first time since April 11, back above the level of 1,800 points, at 1,809.60 points.

Crobex10 is up by 0.82 percent, closing trading at 1,055.36 points.

Liquidity remains low ahead of tomorrow’s Labor Day, with regular trading in shares amounting to 5.8 million kuna, which is about 200 thousand kuna less than on Friday.

The only shares with a million kuna turnover were HT shares, which traded for 2.07 million kuna, with a price increase of 0.61 percent, to 164 kuna.

Following in turnover, which amounted to 948.2 thousand kuna, are the shares of Valamar Riviera. Their price increased by 2.50 percent, to 41 kuna.

Another tourism share, Arena Hospitality Group, had a turnover of nearly 795 thousand kuna. The price of that share also rose by more than two percent, by 2.38 percent, to 430 kuna.

Among sector indices, the largest growth was recorded by Crobexturist, by 1.63 percent.

Among the more traded shares, the bigger gainer was Vira, with a price increase of 14.29 percent, to 160 kuna.

Vira announced today that in the first quarter of this year it achieved a net profit of 18.9 million kuna, which is 2.2 million or 13.6 percent more than in the same period last year.

Total business revenues of Vira reached 230.3 million kuna, which is 18.3 percent or 35.6 million higher than a year ago. The majority of revenues come from sales, which amounted to 198.6 million kuna and increased by 12 percent.

A strong price increase was recorded by Petrokemija shares, by 31.68 percent, to 13.30 kuna, but with modest turnover of only two thousand kuna.

The Kutina company today published revised financial reports for the previous year, highlighting that it is in the final phase of the ownership transformation process and allows investors a ‘clean start’, with the aim of eliminating all risks previously emphasized by auditors, so the Management and Supervisory Board corrected previously published unaudited results for 2017, increasing the loss by 95.8 million kuna, to a total of 242.6 million kuna.

Petrokemija also published its financial report for the first quarter of this year, in which the company recorded a loss of 78.8 million kuna, while in the same period last year it had a profit of 11.1 million kuna.

Total revenues in the first quarter amounted to 466.3 million kuna, which is 24.5 percent less than in the same period last year, while expenses were reduced by 10 percent, to 545 million kuna.

Of the approximately 50 shares traded today, only eight recorded a price drop, and among shares with more than one hundred thousand kuna, prices fell for AD Plastik shares, by 1.05 percent, to 188 kuna, KraĊĦa by 0.47 percent, to 424 kuna, and Podravka, by 0.34 percent, to 289 kuna.
