Today in Croatia: HPB on the Purchase of Jadranska Banka

We announce the most important events in Croatia for Friday, April 27:

ZAGREB – The Croatian Parliament continues its eighth session (9:30 AM, St. Mark’s Square 6).

ZAGREB – The Commission for Deciding on Conflict of Interest will discuss at its eighth session, among other things, the decisions regarding Finance Minister Zdravko Marić, Skradin Mayor Nediljko Dujić, and Assistant Minister for Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy, Maja Vučinić-Knežević (10:00 AM, Prince Mutimir Street 5/I).

ZAGREB – On the occasion of commemorating the suffering of civilians during the Military and Police Action “Flash”, Documenta – Center for Dealing with the Past and the Serbian National Council are organizing a round table, where they will remind of the state’s obligation to prosecute war crimes, create a record of civilian war victims, adopt more comprehensive laws, and recognize the rights of civilian victims and their relatives, among other things. Along with Vesna Teršelič, the head of Documenta, and Milorad Pupovac, the president of the Serbian National Council, representatives of families and victims’ associations, representatives of the State Attorney’s Office of the Republic of Croatia, as well as activists and lawyers will participate in the round table (11:00 AM, Journalists’ Home, Perkovčeva 2).

OSIJEK – The Association of Croatian Judges will hold a regular assembly, where, among other things, the Work Plan and Financial Plan of the Association for 2019 will be adopted (10:30 AM, Hotel Osijek, Šamačka 4).

ZAGREB – A press conference of the Croatian Postal Bank (HPB) will discuss the offer for the purchase of Jadranska Banka and the business results for the first quarter of 2018 (12:00 PM, HPB, Jurišićeva 4).

ZAGREB – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Martina Dalić will visit the company Altpro d.o.o. and attend the opening of the Development-Innovation Center ODRA 2. This is a new development-production center financed through the “Discoveries” program of the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development and with the support of HAMAG-BICRO. The total investment amounted to 25 million kuna, and the new center will provide jobs for 75 new employees. Media statements are planned for 12:40 PM (Development-Innovation Center ODRA 1, Velika cesta 41, Odra Zagreb).

SPLIT – The opening of the first international health tourism fair “Mediterranean 365” (April 27 – 29) will feature medical and tourism experts from 30 countries (12:30 PM, Hotel Atrium, Domovinskog rata Street 49).
