We announce the most important events in Croatia for Friday, April 27:
ZAGREB – The Croatian Parliament continues its eighth session (9:30 AM, St. Mark’s Square 6).
ZAGREB – The Commission for Deciding on Conflict of Interest will discuss at its eighth session, among other things, the decisions regarding Finance Minister Zdravko Marić, Skradin Mayor Nediljko Dujić, and Assistant Minister for Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy, Maja Vučinić-Knežević (10:00 AM, Prince Mutimir Street 5/I).
ZAGREB – On the occasion of commemorating the suffering of civilians during the Military and Police Action “Flash”, Documenta – Center for Dealing with the Past and the Serbian National Council are organizing a round table, where they will remind of the state’s obligation to prosecute war crimes, create a record of civilian war victims, adopt more comprehensive laws, and recognize the rights of civilian victims and their relatives, among other things. Along with Vesna Teršelič, the head of Documenta, and Milorad Pupovac, the president of the Serbian National Council, representatives of families and victims’ associations, representatives of the State Attorney’s Office of the Republic of Croatia, as well as activists and lawyers will participate in the round table (11:00 AM, Journalists’ Home, Perkovčeva 2).
