The Administrative Court in Zagreb has denied Strabag’s request for a temporary delay in the construction of the Pelješac Bridge, it has been confirmed to Lider from the court. In this way, any possibility of postponing the start of construction of the Pelješac Bridge has been definitively eliminated, at least regarding the public procurement process, namely Strabag’s lawsuit.
Construction of the Pelješac Bridge can begin, and the Administrative Court in Zagreb will consider Strabag’s appeal regarding the selection of the builder, the Chinese consortium China Road and Bridge Corporation, in the upcoming period.
It should be noted that nothing is finalized yet, as it can be heard that Bosnia and Herzegovina will also seek from the EU to suspend construction until border issues between that country and Croatia are resolved. However, that is already a political problem.
