On the Zagreb Stock Exchange, cautious trading is expected on Monday as news from the business sector is awaited to guide investors, and Crobex may stagnate after breaking a five-week negative streak last week.
All 5 analysts who participated in the Hina survey today expect stagnation of Crobex. The Crobex index rose by 0.35 percent last week to 1,788 points, while Crobex10 increased by 0.38 percent to 1,037 points. Both indices thus broke a five-week negative streak, moving away from the lowest levels since August 2016.
Among sector indices, Crobextransport had the highest gain, at 4.25 percent, while Crobexkonstrukt saw the largest decline, at 1.5 percent.

Regular trading volume last week amounted to 21 million kuna, which is approximately 4 million less than the previous week.
– In the domestic market, indices slightly rose last week, breaking a five-week negative streak, but with still very low liquidity, says Magdalena Dolenec, junior capital market analyst at Erste&Steiermaerkische Bank.
Liquidity, she adds, was not significantly improved by two block transactions.
– The average daily turnover was around 5.8 million kuna, she stated.

In a block transaction, shares of HTP Korčula achieved a turnover of 4.36 million kuna at a price of 57.5 kuna per share, while HT had 3.2 million kuna at a price of 160 kuna.
In regular trading, the most liquid was the share of Valamar Riviera, with a turnover of 3.6 million kuna, and its price fell by 1 percent to 39.4 kuna. Following was the share of HT, with a turnover of 3.22 million kuna, which decreased by 0.9 percent to 160 kuna. The preferred issue of Adrisa achieved a turnover of 1.75 million kuna, with a price drop of 0.2 percent to 420 kuna.
The share of Čakovečki mlinovi was also in focus for investors, with a turnover of 1.29 million kuna. Its price did not change compared to the previous week, ending the week at 6,450 kuna. Of the 61 issues traded last week, 29 recorded a price drop, 19 an increase, and 13 stagnation.

Among the more liquid issues, shares of Atlantska plovidba rose the most, by 8.9 percent, and Medika by 8.1 percent. On the other hand, the largest losses were recorded by shares of Excelsa nekretnina, down 16.5 percent, and Luka Ploče, down 10.5 percent.
– Given that there are no significant corporate news, I expect cautious trading today, characteristic of the beginning of the week. However, this week, the focus of investors will be on the release of financial reports from companies for the first quarter, concludes Dolenec.
