The decision regarding the extradition of Ivica Todorić to Croatia was made today at the British Westminster Magistrates’ Court. There are no obstacles to Todorić’s extradition to Croatia, said the judge unconvinced by his political persecution. Todorić has the right to appeal within seven days.
At 3 PM, it will be decided what the security measures will be, that is, whether the bail will be increased or the current measures will be maintained, requiring him to report to the police.

The dissatisfied party can appeal this first-instance decision to three different instances in Great Britain, so it is estimated that the process could then take an additional four to six months.
Todorić was arrested last year on November 7 based on a European arrest warrant issued by Croatia, and on the same day, he was released on bail of one hundred thousand pounds and precautionary measures. The judge released Todorić after he paid the bail, confiscated his passport, required him to wear a security bracelet, and report to the police three times a week. Todorić and 14 other individuals are under investigation in Croatia due to the debt crisis in Agrokor, a company that employs 60,000 people in Croatia and the region and is under the supervision of the Croatian state.
