The management of Lidl Croatia, one of the larger retail chains in Croatia, has made the decision to increase the gross salary by an average of 8.5 percent for its employees working in stores and warehouses. With this decision, 1,792 employees in a total of 93 Lidl stores across Croatia and in 2 logistics-distribution centers in Jastrebarsko and Perušić will feel the pay increase.
Lidl emphasizes that this move once again shows that their employees are the most valuable potential, worth investing in. This salary increase for employees is just one in a series since the beginning of operations in Croatia, demonstrating that Lidl continuously proves that its employees, along with customers, are a top priority, the company explains.
In the previous business year, which was exceptionally successful, in line with the company’s growth and expansion of the retail network and operations, Lidl employed 463 new workers in all areas of business – in stores, logistics-distribution centers, and the headquarters, according to the company’s statement.
