Tonight, about 15 minutes before midnight in Split, cars were on fire again, one was completely burned, and two were scorched, it was learned on Saturday from the Split police.
Firefighters received the report of a fire on Stepinčeva Street in Gripama at 11:45 PM.
The fire spread from the vehicle where it broke out to two other nearby parked cars, which were scorched.

The fire was extinguished exactly at midnight, after which the police cordoned off the fire scene, and since this morning, an investigation has been ongoing to determine whether it was intentional arson or a fire caused by a technical malfunction of the vehicle.
In recent years, more vehicles have been set on fire in Split.
In the Split area, 26 intentionally set vehicles in the last 15 months
In the last 15 months, there have been 26 intentionally caused fires on personal and commercial vehicles and a motorcycle in the wider Split area, it was learned on Friday from the Split police.
Just last year, the police conducted investigations on 18 fires where open flames or embers were determined as the cause.
