ZSE: Crobex at Lowest Levels Since August 2016

The indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange plunged on Thursday to their lowest levels since August 2016, with all sectors recording price declines, particularly the transport sector, which fell by more than three percent.

The Crobex index fell by 0.91 percent on Thursday, to 1,788 points, marking its lowest level since August 18, 2016, when it closed at 1,786 points.

At the same time, Crobex10 decreased by 0.82 percent, to 1,037 points, the lowest level since August 16, 2016, when it closed at 1,032 points.

All sector indices fell, with Crobextransport experiencing the largest drop of 3.09 percent.

Regular trading in shares reached 8.4 million kuna, approximately 4 million more than the previous day. Additionally, a block transaction of shares in Arena Hospitality Group generated another 10.66 million kuna, at a price of 430 kuna per share.

The highest trading volume was recorded by Valamar Riviera shares, amounting to 2.23 million kuna. Its price fell by 1 percent, to 39.8 kuna, marking its lowest level since the end of January 2017.

Following was the regular share of Adris, with a trading volume of 2.1 million kuna and a price drop of 2.53 percent, to 423 kuna.

A million kuna trading volume was also achieved by the issuance of Arena Hospitality Group, amounting to 1.4 million kuna. Its price increased by 2.14 percent, making it the largest gainer among more liquid issues.

A total of 42 issues were traded on Wednesday, with 28 recording price declines, 7 increases, and the same number remaining stable.

The largest price drops were recorded by Tehnika shares, down nearly 10 percent to 140 kuna, and Atlantska Plovidba, down 7 percent to 506 kuna.
