The Information Office of Mayor Milan Bandić reported on Wednesday afternoon that the price of a single ZET ticket for public city transport lasting half an hour will still be four kuna, and that a ticket for a one-hour ride for six kuna is also being introduced.

“Regarding media reports about the increase in ZET ticket prices, we inform you that the price of a single ticket for public city transport lasting half an hour will still be four kuna.
Since we are shaping the payment system according to user needs, starting from May 1, 2018, a ticket for a one-hour ride for six kuna will also be introduced. Thus, passengers will be able to purchase a ticket for four kuna for half an hour of travel, and for six kuna they will be able to ride for one hour. The price of a ticket for a ride lasting one and a half hours remains 10 kuna,” the Information Office stated.

Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić previously stated in the Radio Sljeme show “Zagrebi po Zagrebu” that analyses showed that four kuna is too low a price for a ticket despite increased sales. “After the analyses we conducted, we saw that six kuna would be better. We will probably go with six kuna, but that is still 40 percent less than ten kuna,” said the Mayor of Zagreb.
