The process of harmonizing the basic elements of the settlement with Agrokor’s creditors is complete, stated Prime Minister Andrej Plenković after the meeting with the extraordinary commissioner Fabris Peruško and his deputy Irena Weber, as well as representatives of the Temporary Creditor Council.
“We have confirmed good news. A financial crisis that would have been felt throughout the economy has been prevented, thanks to the Law, the work of the extraordinary administration, and all participants in this process,” said Plenković, adding that the presidents of neighboring countries are also pleased that the Croatian problem has not spilled over into their economies.
“There were those who were against it. The agreement paves the way for legal structuring and a final settlement. It should be reiterated that the creditors were the most important participants in the entire process and that not everything fell on the shoulders of taxpayers. The company has been stabilized today,” emphasized Minister of Economy Martina Dalić.
Peruško, on the other hand, stated that all key elements of the settlement have been agreed upon, and a special agreement with suppliers has been reached, announcing a media briefing at Agrokor, where he will inform journalists about the details of the settlement.
