Water in Slavonski Brod is health-safe and can be used for drinking, announced the Croatian Institute of Public Health on Monday.
The expert committee for drinking water held a telephone session on April 9, 2018, and, taking into account all the results of monitoring drinking water over a period of one week, concluded that the drinking water in the area of Slavonski Brod is considered health-safe and can be used for drinking and other household needs, according to a statement published on the HZJZ website.

In accordance with Article 12, Paragraph 5 of the Drinking Water Act, the Commission believes that the public water service provider should continue sampling and monitoring of the water sources and network in accordance with the national monitoring plan and in line with the regular internal control plans of the water supply, the statement says.
