After Pan-Pek, the largest Croatian bakery company Mlinar may also be up for sale. According to information from sources close to the company, a foreign fund or foreign company has conducted a deep analysis of Mate Škoje’s company, although we have not received an official confirmation or denial.

Mlinar did not respond to the question of whether a takeover of the company can be expected soon, or whether negotiations are ongoing and at what stage they are. Given that the Polish Enterprise Fund VII recently acquired a 65 percent stake in Pan-Pek, we were curious whether they considered acquiring Mlinar before that acquisition and whether there is a possibility for it to happen despite the takeover of Pan-Pek.
