Croatian Chamber of Economy Opens Office in Mostar

The Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) will open its office in Mostar on Monday, April 9, as part of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. HGK President Luka Burilović stated that the aim is to assist local companies in entering the Croatian market and the EU market through the work of the Mostar office, as announced by HGK on Saturday.

“Croatian companies have long been present in the BiH market and feel at home here. It is our responsibility to lobby through the chamber systems to further facilitate their business operations and help them with the challenges they face. Our goal is to assist local companies that wish to enter the Croatian market and the single EU market of 500 million people through the work of this office,” said HGK President Luka Burilović.

He added that the opening of the HGK Office is yet another step towards strengthening the export orientation of the Croatian economy and sustainable long-term economic growth. At the ceremonial reception on the occasion of the opening of the Croatian Chamber of Economy Office in Mostar, the HGK President will address the attendees, among others.

Burilović will also visit the Mostar Economic Fair, which will be held from April 10 to 14. This year, around 20 Croatian companies from various sectors will exhibit with the support of HGK, and winemakers gathered under the brand Vina Croatia – vina mosaica will also present themselves again.

As part of the fair, a conference of the Forum of Chambers of Commerce of the Adriatic-Ionian region will be held, addressing regional challenges of the future, such as energy and digitalization, as stated by the HGK Communications Office.
