Pevec to open a business center in Vukovar next year

The retail chain Pevec plans to build a business center in Vukovar, which is expected to open its doors next year, creating 50 new jobs, the company reported on Friday.

According to the statement, Pevec Logistika d.o.o., whose sole founder and shareholder is Pevec d.d., has signed a purchase agreement based on which it acquired ownership rights to a property with a total area of 27,000 square meters, located in the business zone of the City of Vukovar, where the construction of the first Pevec business center in the Vukovar-Srijem County is planned.

The business center is expected to open next year, and it is planned to employ 50 staff members, they emphasize. The next steps include the development of the project and conceptual design, after which construction work should begin, and the total investment value will then be known, they say from Pevec.

– The implementation of this investment project supports the process of strengthening the entrepreneurial climate in the City of Vukovar, a hero and victim of the Homeland War, especially as a contribution to its economic recovery, the opening of new jobs, and preventing population emigration, stated Pevec’s CEO Jurica Lovrinčević and the director of Pevec Logistika Krešimir Bubalo.
