DZS: Industrial Product Stocks Increased by 10.9 Percent, While Energy Stocks Decreased by 27.1 Percent

Total stocks of finished industrial products at manufacturers at the end of February increased by one percent compared to the previous month, and by 10.9 percent year-on-year, according to data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS).

According to the main industrial groupings (GIG), stocks of intermediate products at the end of February compared to the previous month increased by 8.1 percent, capital products by 13.6 percent, durable consumer goods by 9.4 percent, and non-durable consumer goods by two percent.

At the same time, energy stocks decreased by 38.3 percent.

Year-on-year, stocks of intermediate products increased by 18.3 percent, non-durable consumer goods by 12.9 percent, durable consumer goods by 5.9 percent, and capital products by 4.6 percent.

Energy stocks decreased by 27.1 percent.

When viewed by areas of the national classification of activities (NKD), stocks of finished industrial products at the end of February compared to the previous month increased by one percent in the manufacturing industry, and by 0.9 percent in mining and quarrying.

On a year-on-year basis, stocks of finished industrial products in February compared to the same month in 2017 increased by 11.3 percent in the manufacturing industry, and by 3.5 percent in mining and quarrying.
