Croatian Roads have selected a community of bidders for the supervision of the construction of the land-Pelješac bridge with access roads, which includes the Institute IGH, the Center for Construction Organization, and Invest Engineering, which submitted a bid amounting to 49.4 million kuna (excluding VAT). Croatian Roads published the decision on the selection in the electronic public procurement bulletin.
Three bids were received for the supervision job, and alongside the community of bidders led by the Institute IGH, bids were also submitted by the company Lipov Gaj, which offered a bid worth 55.66 million kuna, and a community of bidders from the German Krebs+Kiefer and the Split-based Geoprojekt, which offered 52 million kuna (all prices are excluding VAT).

The estimated value of the supervision work for the construction of the Pelješac Bridge was 53.54 million kuna. According to the selection decision, the bid from the community of bidders led by the Institute IGH was valid and was assessed as the most economically advantageous according to the selection criteria.
The bid from the company Lipov Gaj was rejected as irregular because that company did not provide a bid security, while the community of bidders Krebs+Kiefer and Geoprojekt did not prove that it possesses the technical and professional capacity as required by the procurement documentation, thus that bid was deemed unacceptable and rejected.
Appeals against the selection decision can be submitted to the State Commission for Control of Public Procurement Procedures. Meanwhile, the Pelješac Bridge will be constructed by the Chinese consortium China Road and Bridge Corporation, which offered a price of 2.08 billion kuna (excluding VAT) and a completion deadline of 36 months.
