On the Makarska Riviera, 1800 guests are staying in 10 open hotels for the Easter holidays, of which 700 are in five Makarska hotel establishments. The largest number of tourists comes from Germany and England, with visitors from Norway, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and our country as well.

The most tourists are resting in the Meteor hotel, which accommodates more than 400 guests, mostly foreigners. After the Easter holidays, all hotels will continue operations, and new groups of tourists are already expected to arrive by the end of the week, while most other hotels on the coast will welcome their first guests of the year by the end of April.

The preseason on the Makarska Riviera has started better than last year, the peak of summer is selling well, and bookings for the post-season are also better than a year earlier, say hoteliers.
