One of the main stars of the upcoming INmusic festival, Australian dark artist Nick Cave, will score a new film by Oscar winner Halle Berry, from whose soundtrack he recently presented two tracks, reports NME.
As with his previous films, he is collaborating with multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis, a regular member of his Bad Seeds, and judging by the songs released so far, “Saying Goodbye” and “Waking Up”, it will be atmospheric, almost ambient music.

The drama titled “Kings” follows a married couple who, due to a series of circumstances, find themselves in the midst of major street riots in Los Angeles in 1992, triggered by the verdicts in the murder of Rodney King.
Alongside Halle, the main roles feature current James Bond Daniel Craig, Kirk Baltz, and Tom Berklund, while the direction is handled by Turkish director Deniz Gamze Ergüven based on her own screenplay.
