After U.S. President Donald Trump announced the decision to impose tariffs on Chinese goods, the U.S. and China found themselves on the brink of a trade war, unsettling investors in global markets. Among the 84 open investment funds, according to HRPORTFOLIO data, funds with declining share values predominated.
The week concluded with 19 funds showing an increase, while 65 recorded a decline. There were no funds with growth exceeding one percent, and 25 fell by more than one percent.
On the list of the ten funds with the highest growth, cash and bond funds occupied four spots each, while mixed and equity funds each took one spot. Weekly changes for all funds ranged from -5.94 percent to +0.08 percent.
KD Nova Europa
Of the 27 equity funds, only KD Nova Europa increased, by 0.08 percent. ZB Trend recorded a decline of 5.94 percent, Alta Special Opportunity fell by 5.20 percent, and Neta Global Developed decreased by 4.94 percent.
All six special funds recorded a decline. The largest drops were for ZB Future 2055 and ZB Future 2040, at 3.22 and 3.21 percent, respectively.
Of the 16 mixed funds, only KD Balanced increased, by a minimal 0.01 percent. PBZ Global fell by 2.35 percent, while InterCapital Balanced and ZB Global recorded declines of 1.87 and 1.50 percent.
Of the 15 bond funds, five recorded growth. The highest increase was for the Alta Emerging Bond fund, at 0.08 percent, while PBZ Dollar Bond Fund 2 and PBZ Dollar Bond Fund recorded growth of 0.07 percent. Raiffeisen Classic fell by 0.16 percent, and InterCapital Bond and InterCapital Dollar Bond fell by 0.12 percent.
Value growth was recorded by 12 of the 20 cash funds. The price of shares for PBZ Dollar increased the most, by 0.02 percent. Alta Multicash and Locusta Cash grew by 0.01 percent. Raiffeisen EuroCash fell by 0.02 percent.
