Valuation of Pavić’s Company Com Com’s Real Estate in Bankruptcy, Mercedes AMG Sold for 13,250 Kuna

The bankruptcy trustee of Com Com d.o.o, the company of former majority owner of Europapress Holding (EPH) Ninoslav Pavić, submitted a report stating that in the upcoming period, they will initiate the valuation of the company’s real estate located on Bužanova Street in Zagreb, which has been estimated at around one million kuna.

These are properties or co-ownership shares in a building on Bužanova Street, valued at approximately 129,000 euros, on which Raiffeisen Bank has a lien with a claim of about 8.7 million kuna.

Following a conducted tender for the sale of movable assets of Pavić’s bankrupt company, a once expensive Mercedes E50 AMG 210 was sold, for which the buyer paid only 13,250 kuna including VAT after the fourth advertisement for sale.

The report states that in the valuation of Com Com d.o.o’s assets, among other things, the company’s shares in other companies should also be considered, particularly in Hanza Media, the former EPH taken over by the late lawyer Marijan Hanžeković, which is why Pavić initiated a lawsuit seeking around 260 million kuna in damages.

Agrokor’s Claim

The bankruptcy trustee’s report followed after the claims of creditors of Pavić’s company were established in January, totaling over 90 million kuna, among which the largest established claim is from Agrokor amounting to 59.6 million kuna.

Agrokor’s claim is based on a contract for a purpose-specific time deposit, a short-term loan agreement, and an agreement on the regulation of mutual relations concluded from October 2012 to August 2016. The real estate company Allegheny Financial, of which Ninoslav Pavić is one of the founders, is claiming 17.2 million kuna based on loan agreements, as well as purchase agreements and debt assumption agreements concluded from January 2008 to April 2012.

Another company where Pavić is the sole founder and director – Eupragia d.o.o is claiming 4.3 million kuna based on short-term loan agreements concluded in 2015, and Pavić himself, as a creditor of the second higher payment order, is claiming just over 80,000 kuna from his bankrupt company based on a loan agreement.

However, on the other hand, Pavić, as the only creditor of the first higher payment order and an employee of his own company, has also been recognized a claim of 50,684 kuna based on unpaid net salary.

Raiffeisen Bank has a recognized claim of over 8.7 million kuna, and this bank has secured its claims by registering on the debtor’s property – a residential building on Bužanova Street in Zagreb. Among the larger creditors is the Tax Administration, which is claiming just under 600,000 kuna based on taxes, contributions, and other payments.

The company Com Com was established in 2004 with a share capital of 20,000 kuna and is headquartered on Katančićeva Street in Zagreb. Pavić is listed as the sole founder, and Com Com was the company through which this former EPH owner held a majority stake in that media company until it was taken over by Hanžeković. The bankruptcy proceedings against Com Com were opened in August of last year.
