Around 300 million kuna is being invested in accommodation facilities on Krk

Krk entrepreneurs have invested or are still investing a total of around 300 million kuna in family accommodation, camps, and hotels ahead of this year’s tourist season, and by the end of March, almost all island hotels and several camps are expected to open their doors, announced the Tourist Board of the island of Krk on Thursday.

Efforts are also being made to improve infrastructure, which involves all units of local self-government, with the aim of increasing the quality and standards of offerings and services, they say at the Krk Tourist Board.

The Tourist Board emphasizes that tourism workers on Krk expect even better results from the new season after a successful previous year. Before and during the Easter holidays, from March 29 to April 1, around 2,500 guests and approximately 11,000 overnight stays are expected on the island.

Island tourist boards have prepared a diverse welcome program for Easter – from Easter breakfast to special concerts, gastro programs, cycling and walking programs, and other forms of active recreation.
