John Travolta and Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst have joined forces in the thriller “Moose,” which began filming this week in Alabama.
Variety specifies that Travolta will play the lead role, while Durst has taken on the directing and screenwriting duties, somewhat inspired by real events from his life.

At the center of the plot is an obsessed fan of the popular action star who soon turns into his “stalker” and then decides to destroy him.
Travolta will embody the fan, with Devon Sawa playing the famous actor, and production has been taken over by Ambi Media Group. This will be John’s second collaboration with Ambi in the past year, following the film “Trading Paint,” in which he starred alongside singer Shania Twain.
For Durst, who once found himself targeted by a maniac, this is his second time taking on directing – his directorial debut “The Longshots” with Ice Cube in the lead role was brutally panned by critics, causing him to cool off on similar projects for a full decade.
