The company Kermas Energija, owned by the well-known entrepreneur Nenad Končar, as the largest creditor of the Iva Majoli Tennis Center in bankruptcy, has requested that their claim of as much as 63.5 million kuna be included in the table of registered claims of the second higher payment order.
As stated in the letter to the bankruptcy trustee, published on the e-bulletin board of the Ministry of Justice, Kermas Energija submitted this claim within the legal deadline and on the prescribed form at the end of January, but it was not included in the group of creditors of the second higher payment order. Representatives of Končar’s company emphasize that their claim is based on an enforcement document.
The letter from the largest creditor of the struggling company of the celebrated Croatian tennis player followed a recently published report from the bankruptcy trustee, which states that the company had a loss of more than 570,000 kuna last year, even though Nenad Končar, the son of one of the richest Croats, Danko Končar, paid 37.8 million kuna two years ago and settled Iva Majoli’s debts.

Therefore, the bankruptcy trustee submitted a proposal for decisions, among which the suspension of operations of Iva Majoli Tennis Center d.o.o. is highlighted, acceptance of its report on financial and economic status, as well as the sale of the real estate of this bankrupt debtor – buildings, tennis courts, parking lots, and yards in the elite Jurjevska Street in Zagreb’s Cmrok.
The report from the bankruptcy trustee followed a hearing in December last year, at which the representative and former director of the company, the tennis player’s brother, Drago Majoli, stated that he does not oppose the proposals for opening bankruptcy proceedings submitted at the end of March by the owner of a Zagreb cosmetic salon, as well as the debtor himself.
