Open Applications for Student Internships at Erste Bank General Rehearsal and IT Lab

Regular students of economic-oriented faculties and students of technical faculties can apply this year for the internship programs of Erste Bank, General Rehearsal and IT Lab. While regular students of economic faculties can apply for the ‘General Rehearsal’, regular students from faculties such as FER, FOI, or PMF, as well as students from private institutions/colleges/universities of technical orientation can apply for the ‘IT Lab’.

The bank has been conducting these programs for the third consecutive year, and in addition to allowing interns to gain essential work experience and be paid for it, it also offers them the opportunity to continue working at the bank after completing their internship or studies.

Program ‘IT Lab’

The ‘IT Lab’ program provides students of technical faculties with practical knowledge and skills in one of the largest banking IT systems in the region in the ‘Change the Bank’ segment responsible for developing software solutions and specific projects, as well as being responsible for digital banking at Erste Bank. During the internship, students will have the opportunity to work with technologies used in the development of financial IT systems and will be enabled to work with experts and attend educational programs and workshops. The internship will last for three summer months (June-August) 2018, and will take place in Zagreb, Rijeka, and Bjelovar.

Upon completion of the internship, students will have the opportunity for scholarship from the bank, continuation of work at the bank, as well as the possibility of employment after graduation. To participate in the program, students need to apply by sending their CVs by April 15, 2018, to [email protected], and the bank will select 15 of them.

Program ‘General Rehearsal’

Students of economic orientation who apply for the ‘General Rehearsal’ program will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in their studies in a real business environment and further develop their skills and enrich their knowledge through working with experts, as well as specially designed internal workshop and education programs. Among other things, students will participate in the work of various organizational units of the bank.

The internship will take place in Zagreb, Rijeka, Bjelovar, Split, Zadar, Pula, and Dubrovnik during three summer months (June-August), for which students will receive a monthly salary of 1,750.00 HRK. Students can apply by sending their CVs by April 15, 2018, to the email [email protected], and the bank will select the top 20.

– Given the high interest from students last year, when the programs attracted double or even triple the number of applicants compared to 2016, the bank decided to organize the internships again this year.
